Environmental
RedZed is focused on being recognised for its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices in the non-banking sector. Since August 2022, we have committed to using 100% GreenPower in our Melbourne and Sydney offices and have achieved Climate Active Certification by offsetting our emissions through carbon credits.
We are committed to improving our understanding of our emissions profile across our entire value chain, so that we can develop sustainable practices to limit any adverse effects our business may be having on the environment around us.
Social
In line with our social responsibility to the broader community, RedZed supports those less fortunate through our charity partnerships with ‘Lighthouse Foundation’, ‘Opportunity International Australia’ and the NACIS team at the Royal Children’s Hospital. These partnerships develop awareness of health and social issues including global poverty, youth homelessness and local research into brain imaging -all to help make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Support is provided through monetary donations, use of office space for events, employee volunteering and our workplace giving program. We're also passionate about championing financial inclusion for self-employed borrowers and fostering career development and cultivating a healthy workplace for our employees.
Governance
Good governance practices ensure a business is run in compliance with the law, the appropriate risk management frameworks are in place, and our licensing and contractual obligations to various stakeholders are met. Our risk management framework provides the foundations for how risks are managed across RedZed and is supported by robust policies and procedures.
We also comply with modern slavery obligations and ensure ethical treatment throughout our operations and supply chains.
